Orders links to projects, Opportunities, and goals

You can link an Order to a Project, Opportunity, or sales proposal. Items from linked Orders are shown in the Project. An Order created from an Opportunity or sales proposal can inherit the supplier, Items, currency, and links when this feature is enabled.

Links help visualize the sales or project requirement for which Items are being purchased. They do not automatically change the status of Order, unless specific automation rules have been configured within your organization.

In the goals module, Orders allows you to calculate quantities or amounts and select statuses, the supplier, the organization, and the date used for the result. You can analyze data in reports (Orders) when the relevant template is enabled and you have the necessary permissions. When comparing results, ensure you use the same organization, date, and status scope.
